Recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies and recipient of multiple safety awards, we are looking for multiple VDC Designers with strong REVIT experience to join our Ottawa teams. We value designers with robust REVIT skills, developing expertise in multiple systems, code understanding, and routing optimization.
The Virtual Design & Construction Designer will develop engineering designs into fabricable, installable, coordinated virtual models representing site installation.
The responsibilities include designing and modeling at least two of the following disciplines using virtual construction technologies:
The VDC Designer will optimize routing to reduce costs, ease installation, follow codes, and represent the trades' intent, working closely with project leads and superintendents.
Key tasks include modeling building systems to improve concepts, issuing drawings, maintaining records, supporting profitability through VDC technologies, overseeing fittings libraries, and supporting overall project timing.
