Job summary

CancerCare Manitoba is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide outpatient medical nutrition therapy as part of the Nutrition Services team. The role collaborates with all members of the interdisciplinary health care team and acts as a resource to CCMB programs and committees.

You will develop and deliver educational programs to patients, families and staff, with activities potentially at multiple CCMB sites. A person-centred model of care guides all activities and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutritional Sciences
• Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program
• Member of the College of Dietitians of Manitoba or other provincial RD college/regulatory body
• Minimum 1 year experience in clinical dietetics
• Demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary model of care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with public speaking
• Proficiency with MS Office; Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
• Satisfactory employment record
