Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Power BI and Dynamo for automation/visual programming.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

VDC Coordinator

We are seeking a VDC Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support project teams through the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) technologies, helping drive coordination, planning, visualization, and digital construction initiatives across complex construction projects.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of BIM and VDC processes throughout project delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage project models using industry-leading digital construction platforms.
  • Facilitate model reviews, clash detection, issue tracking, and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support 3D coordination, constructability reviews, and model-based problem solving.
  • Assist with 4D planning and scheduling workflows to enhance project execution and planning efforts.
  • Collaborate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and owners to ensure models align with project requirements and standards.
  • Maintain model quality and ensure compliance with project BIM execution plans and QA/QC requirements.
  • Support model-to-field workflows, digital layout, and other construction technology initiatives.
  • Prepare visualizations, reports, and project dashboards to communicate project status and key metrics.
  • Assist in the implementation of emerging digital construction tools and best practices across projects.
What We Are Looking For
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent
  • Completion of Construction Management Certificate Program or equivalent is an asset
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in BIM/VDC, with demonstrated leadership on large-scale construction projects.
  • Construction knowledge and/or related work experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency with key Digital Construction tools (e.g., Revit, Revizto, BIM 360/Forma) and associated workflows.
  • Experience with Synchro 4D Pro or equivalent 4D planning software is an asset.
  • Familiarity with automation and visual programming tools such as Power BI and Dynamo is an asset.
  • Familiarity with reality capture and survey/layout technologies is an asset.
  • Understanding of construction processes, model-to-field workflows, and QA/QC standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual who embraces initiative and is results-oriented.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation.
