VDC Coordinator - Kelowna

Maple Reinders Constructors is currently searching for a talented VDC Coordinator to join our team in Kelowna, British Columbia.

As a VDC Coordinator, you will support our estimating and project management teams in the planning, estimating, and execution of tenders or projects. This role requires collaboration with Estimating, Project Management, and other offices.

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitating the startup and implementation of the VDC process on projects with management oversight
• Coordinating with Project Managers and Construction Managers to develop project-specific processes for utilizing or creating 3D information for estimating, logistics, planning, scheduling, coordination, and field layout

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a VDC Coordinator in the construction industry
• University Degree or Technology Diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or related experience
• Experience with drafting and 3D modeling tools such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, Synchro, Navisworks, or 3D Studio Max
• Ability to translate 2D drawings into complete 3D BIM models
• Experience with 4D Scheduling is a plus
• Experience with Civil, Structural, Mechanical modeling is advantageous
