PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. is seeking an Integrated Construction Technology Specialist for on-site work at the North Shore Waste Water Treatment Plant project in Richmond/North Vancouver, BC.

The role focuses on developing and validating virtual models, coordinating trade partners, and advancing BIM/VDC processes across the project team. With 2–4 years in construction and 1–2 years in VDC, you will drive model accuracy, schedule alignment, and tech adoption while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in buildings-industry related discipline (AEC, civil, architectural).
• 2–4 years of construction-related experience, including 1–2 years of Virtual Design and Construction experience.
• Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D drawings and translate to BIM content.
• Knowledge of building construction processes and sequences.

Responsibilities

• Builds, reviews, or validates virtual models from plans, specs, and elevations.
• Collaborates on construction-site logistics models and trade coordination.
• Supervises coordination of trade detailing and design deliverables.
• Reviews and recommends scopes for VDC tools during pursuit stage.
• Collaborates on model compliance checking with estimating and BIM plans.
• Promotes the use of virtual construction tools to project staff.
• Keeps multidiscipline construction models current and adheres to standards.
• Coordinates kickoff meetings and processes RFIs with the project team.
