Job summary

Urban One Builders in Vancouver is scaling its VDC/BIM team and seeks a Manager to lead adoption of BIM across bids and project execution. You will champion technology, develop and run training sessions, and influence stakeholders to raise project team capabilities.

The role requires 8+ years in BIM, strong leadership, and experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, Revizto, and Reality Capture. Collaboration with IT and operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in a BIM/construction field.
• 8+ years in BIM management and modeling with leadership experience.
• Experience leading at an organizational level.
• Knowledge of North America BIM standards and EIRs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement VDC processes across project lifecycles.
• Develop and monitor BIM Execution Plans and VDC strategies.
• Oversee a portfolio of projects.
• Collaborate with Operations to develop BIM scopes of work.
• Develop workflows using BIM data for estimating, 4D planning, and field layout.
• Uphold BIM standards and maintain knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with IT to provide proper hardware and software for projects.
