Intega IT is a boutique IT Managed Service Provider, proud of the service and delivery we have consistently provided to our partners in the Ottawa community since 2001.
We are seeking a new vCIO. As vCIO, your experience should include:
- Strategic IT Leadership: Proven ability to align technology initiatives with business goals, driving digital transformation, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Client Relationship Management: Strong background in building trusted advisor relationships, identifying business needs, and delivering tailored IT strategies that foster growth and innovation.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS), and enterprise architecture, with the ability to evaluate, plan, and oversee implementation.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Experience in creating and managing IT budgets, forecasting technology spend, and ensuring ROI on IT investments.
- Vendor and Project Management: Skilled in managing third-party vendors, negotiating contracts, and leading projects to successful completion on time and within budget.
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Understanding of compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) and best practices for risk mitigation.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Experience guiding IT teams, mentoring junior staff, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
The Day-to-Day…
- You will be the external face of Intega, maintaining client relationships.
- Your communication skills, willingness to learn, adapt, and grow will be evident both internally and externally.
- You will develop relationships with clients to understand their needs, issues, and strategies, then translate these into solutions.
- You will strive to improve, leveraging your passion for technology and strategic vision to assist clients.
- You will help clients develop 1-3 year technology roadmaps, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- You will listen to client needs, identify opportunities, scope, quote, and sell projects, collaborating with our Project Manager and Service Delivery Manager for execution.
- You will serve as the primary contact for clients needing assistance, maintaining positive relationships even during challenging situations.
- You will research new technologies, propose solutions, and communicate these to the service desk for support.
- In case of major incidents, you will manage escalations, communicate plans, and keep clients updated until resolution.
- You will work closely with clients to promote adoption, training, and best practices for ongoing value and ROI.
- You will lead the Account Management team to achieve targets.
- Other related duties as required.
