Intega IT is a boutique IT Managed Service Provider. We pride ourselves on the service and delivery we have consistently provided to our partners in the Ottawa community since 2001.
Intega IT is seeking a vCIO. The role requires:
- Strategic IT Leadership: Ability to align technology initiatives with business goals, driving digital transformation, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Client Relationship Management: Experience in building trusted advisor relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored IT strategies that promote growth and innovation.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS), and enterprise architecture, with the capacity to evaluate, plan, and oversee implementations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Experience managing IT budgets, forecasting technology spend, and ensuring ROI on IT investments.
- Vendor and Project Management: Skills in managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and leading projects to successful completion within scope, time, and budget.
- Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management: Understanding of compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) and risk mitigation strategies.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Experience guiding IT teams, mentoring staff, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
The Day-to-Day…
- Maintain relationships with clients as the external face of Intega.
- Communicate effectively internally and externally, demonstrating willingness to learn and adapt.
- Develop client relationships to understand their business needs and translate them into strategic solutions.
- Work with clients to create 1-3 year technology roadmaps, including planning and budgeting.
- Identify technical opportunities, scope, quote, and sell projects, collaborating with project and service managers.
- Provide support for service-related opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships.
- Research new technologies and propose solutions aligning with client needs; communicate these to the support team.
- Manage critical escalations during major incidents, communicating plans and updates.
- Assist clients with adoption, training, and best practices to maximize value.
- Lead the Account Management team towards achieving targets.
- Perform other related duties as required.
