Job summary

ActiveCo is seeking a full-time vCIO based in Port Coquitlam, BC. You will partner with client executives to align technology with business goals, manage a portfolio of client accounts, and identify growth opportunities. Local travel to client sites is expected as a regular part of the role.

The position offers CAD 80,000 to 100,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications, with structured onboarding and ongoing leadership support.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT services, managed services, or technology consulting.
• MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of managed client accounts.
• Conduct regular onsite and offsite client meetings to assess needs and align technology with business goals.
• Identify and develop new opportunities within existing client base to support growth.
• Oversee and manage professional services projects from scoping through delivery.
• Maintain accurate client playbooks, forecasts, and account plans.
