Job Description

We are seeking an experienced VB.NETand DB2 Database Consultantto support the development, maintenance, and optimization of legacy applications built on VB.NETwith DB2 as the backend database. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in application development and database integration, with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in VB.NETapplication development.
Strong experience working with IBM DB2(SQL queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
Proficient in ADO.NET, Windows Forms, and .NET Framework.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Experience in debugging and resolving application and database-related issues.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or TFS.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
