Job description

OVERVIEW

Perform duties related to Vascular testing in accordance with the policies of the Lab.

EDUCATION

  1. Registered Vascular Technologist
  2. Advanced education/training in peripheral vascular and carotid testing, procedures and/or 2 years experience in related area
  3. B.C.L.S. required
  4. Registered Vascular Technologist Diploma preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently
  • Ability to problem solve and work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and patients
  • Highly motivated to pursue educational goals
  • Experience in the operation of vascular testing equipment, patient preparation, recording and reading of results preferred
  • Demonstrated teaching and leadership skills
  • Good work and attendance record required
