Job description

OVERVIEW

Perform duties related to Vascular testing in accordance with the policies of the Lab.

EDUCATION

  1. Registered Vascular Technologist
  2. Advanced education/training in peripheral vascular and carotid testing, procedures and/or 2 years experience in related area
  3. B.C.L.S. required
  4. Registered Vascular Technologist Diploma preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently
  2. Ability to problem solve and work effectively under pressure
  3. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and patients
  4. Highly motivated to pursue educational goals
  5. Experience in the operation of vascular testing equipment, patient preparation, recording and reading of results preferred
  6. Demonstrated teaching and leadership skills
  7. Good work and attendance record required
