Position Summary

The Variable Operations Development Manager will play a key role in driving improved operational efficiency at AutoCanada dealerships by monitoring traffic channels, market share, gross profit, closing percentages, and CSI scores. You'll guide GMs and Sales Managers with feedback and training to increase vehicle sales and provide insights on store performance and employee engagement. Your efforts will directly impact our growth strategy to provide the best sales experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with marketing and management to improve turnover, productivity, CSI, market share, and sales results.
  • Work with GMs and Sales Managers to implement process improvements and develop action plans to increase KPIs and profitability.
  • Conduct store visits to analyze e-commerce results and recommend initiatives to boost sales and closing rates.
  • Create and modify reports and dashboards for sales and operations analysis.
  • Optimize online presence for lead generation and ROI.
  • Support lead generation and customer success projects at the store level.
  • Ensure accurate flow of lead information through systems.
  • Implement sales automation to improve efficiencies.
  • Initiate internet sales opportunities like email/SMS campaigns and marketing automation.
  • Coach and mentor leadership and team members according to AutoCanada's core values.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 5 years automotive experience, including 2 years in Internet or Sales Management.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Experience with dealership CRM and third-party lead software (VIN Solutions, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Quick learner, adaptable, detail-oriented, able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills across organizational levels.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to maximize ROI.
