We are looking for a VFX Production Assistant to join our team in Vancouver on-site! Entry-level position.

We seek an energetic, detail-oriented VFX Production Assistant ready to perform various tasks in our Vancouver studio. Our company operates in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment with projects ranging from feature films to television shows. We are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals who have the drive to contribute to our rapidly growing company. The VFX Production Assistant is an entry-level position responsible for supporting all aspects of production. This role offers a great learning opportunity to understand the entire VFX pipeline.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform office duties such as stocking supplies, maintaining tidiness, taking out trash, grocery runs, and miscellaneous errands.
• Support the Supervisor, Producer, Production Coordinators, and Leads in daily activities and production errands.
• Organize files, update databases, and handle deliveries.
• Take notes during meetings.
• Assist Producers with administrative tasks like printing and data compilation.
• Help Production Coordinators prepare review sessions and manage production tasks.
• Manage outgoing file transfers to clients and vendors, including renderings and documentation.

Education and Experience

• High attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Calm under pressure with good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
• Previous administrative, assistant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to exceed expectations.
• Fun, outgoing personality.
