Job Description

As a Van Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations across the St. Johns metro area, ensuring timely, efficient, and safe deliveries. You’ll play a critical role in our operations, requiring both independence and teamwork to get the job done. If you have at least 9 years of driving experience, know the area well, and are ready for the challenge, this could be the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company van to deliver goods to assigned locations.
• Ensure deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your vehicle.
• Lift and carry packages weighing 50-60 lbs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in a one-week on-call rotation, ready for assignments outside regular hours as needed.
• Be flexible with extended hours during peak seasons (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with potential for after-hours work).

Requirements

• Minimum of 9 years of driving experience with a clean driving abstract.
• Previous delivery experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of the St. Johns / Metro area is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs safely and efficiently.
• Own PPE: boots, vest, and hard hat.
• Clean background check required.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
