Strategic Account Manager @ New Value Solutions

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an experienced Value Management Consultant to contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of its Information Technology roadmap. As part of a collaborative team of IT consultants, staff, and business experts, you will help ensure that our IT investments and initiatives deliver measurable business value and long-term benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Will play a key part in evaluating, planning, sourcing, and governing our IT and security systems.
• Will guide the organization in assessing the value of technology initiatives, identifying cost-effective solutions, and ensuring that technology decisions align with both operational goals and fiscal responsibility.
• Lead value assessments and cost-benefit analyses for proposed IT initiatives and infrastructure changes.
• Support the development of our IT strategy and roadmap with a focus on value creation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate the business impact of IT solutions.
• Assist in IT sourcing decisions and vendor evaluations to ensure optimal return on investment.
• Work across departments to define metrics for success and monitor outcomes.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and their potential business applications.
• Integrate IT security and governance standards into value-based planning.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in an IT management role.
• 10+ years of experience in your technical field, with a strong focus on value-driven technology planning.
• At least 10 years of experience in full lifecycle IT project deployment.
• Proficiency with SCRUM, Waterfall, or other project delivery methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent certifications and training.
• Strong understanding of IT security, system governance, and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent skills in business analysis, cost modeling, and strategic planning.
