BDO Canada’s Toronto office is seeking a Co-op Student or Intern to join the Valuations & Modelling team from January to April 2027. You will assist in the preparation of financial models used for valuation and in the creation of detailed valuation reports and presentations to management.

Your Opportunity

Our Toronto office is looking for a Co-op Student or Intern to join the Valuations & Modelling team from January to April 2027. This is a net new role and responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the preparation of the financial models used for the valuation;
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed valuation reports and presentations to management;
  • Participate in discussions and meetings with management of the companies involved;
  • Analyze company and industry-specific strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to determine the cash flow risks of the companies involved;
  • Research third-party databases for market, industry or comparable public company and private transaction multiples and other information for valuation purposes;
  • Manage multiple engagements to ensure successful and timely completion of client deliverables;

Your Experience And Education
  • You are enrolled in an accounting focused post-secondary program with intention of pursuing the CPA designation
  • You have a strong interest in pursuing a career in valuations and an eagerness to pursue the CBV designation
  • You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas effectively in writing
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You have the ability to prioritize competing priorities with varying deadlines.

The expected range of compensation for this role is $48,000 - $60,000.
