Job summary

Baker Tilly International is seeking a Manager in Valuations & Corporate Finance in Toronto. You will lead valuation engagements, mentor staff, and develop client relationships while ensuring quality and timely delivery of complex assignments.

The role requires CBV/CPA, 3+ years valuation experience, strong Excel and modelling skills, and a demonstrated ability to drive business growth within a dynamic professional services environment.

Qualifications

• CPA and CBV designation required.
• Minimum 3 years valuation experience in a professional services firm.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial modelling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Ability to develop business and client relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with review and preparation of business valuations using various methodologies.
• Lead Quality of Earnings and Due Diligence engagements.
• Assist with impairment tests and purchase price allocations per IFRS.
• Prepare and present valuation reports and databooks.
• Oversee engagement timelines and deliverables within budget.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Manage and mentor other staff for professional development.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Identify and participate in business development opportunities.
• Support Partners in relationship management and practice development.
