Job summary

Dilawri Group of Companies in Vancouver's Mercedes-Benz dealership is seeking a reliable Valet to ensure a premium customer experience. You will prep vehicles for delivery, move cars around the lot, and keep the showroom and service area safe and pristine.

The role requires a valid BC driver's license, the ability to drive and operate vehicles, and a strong commitment to teamwork and quality control. Excellent presentation and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid British Columbia Driver's License.
• ICBC driver's abstract available upon request.
• Team-oriented and cooperative.
• Safely operate equipment and vehicles.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for customer delivery or display.
• Maintain high vehicle presentation standards for an exceptional customer experience.
• Start vehicles, check for dead batteries, and recharge as needed.
• Keep the inventory lot organized and tidy.
• Maintain cleanliness of the service area and delivery zone.
• Organize and store supplies at end of shift.
• Clear snow and ice in winter; keep walkways safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Position Overview

The Valet at Mercedes-Benz Vancouver plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of dealership vehicles and lot areas. This position supports the Service Department by preparing vehicles for delivery, assisting with vehicle movement, and ensuring the dealership grounds remain clean, safe, and customer-ready.

The expected pay for this position is $22.00 per hour.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure all vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for customer delivery or dealership display.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle presentation to support an exceptional customer experience.
• Start vehicles regularly, check for dead batteries, and recharge batteries as needed.
• Keep the vehicle inventory lot organized in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Maintain cleanliness of the service area by removing trash and debris from vehicles and workspaces.
• Ensure the delivery area is clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
• Organize and store all supplies at the end of each shift.
• During winter months, clear snow and ice from doorways, vehicles, and lot areas and ensure walkways remain safe.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications Required

• Valid British Columbia Driver's License.
• Ability to provide a current ICBC driver's abstract (driving record) upon request.
• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to operate assigned equipment and vehicles safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality-control standards.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
