Qualifications

• Possess a valid BC Drivers License, Class 3 minimum required.
• WHMIS 2015 and First Aid certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections of all equipment prior to use.
• Monitor vehicle performance and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain log books and adhere to safety procedures.

Job description

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid BC Drivers License, Class 3 minimum required. Class 1 and TDG certification are assets.
• Must be able to produce a Driver's Abstract.
• Well-organized with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have WHMIS 2015 certification.
• Must have First Aid certification.
• Ability to perform labor and operate equipment is a definite asset.
• Previous experience in Industrial / Hydro-Vac Operating is an asset.
• Willingness to work out of town.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-trip inspections of all equipment prior to use.
• Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain log books and all safety paperwork required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work physically.
• Work safely, adhering to company rules, OHS program, and safe work procedures.
• Good communication skills required.
• Note: $7.22 per hour goes towards union dues.
