Job summary

GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. is seeking Vac Truck Operators for industrial and environmental service projects based out of Edmonton, Alberta.

This full-time position involves multi-week project rotations with travel to northern Alberta and British Columbia, online and in-person training starting mid-August, and gross weekly earnings of $2,940.00 to $3,332.00 for 80 hours. Operators will handle vac trucks, tank and line cleaning, and site cleanup at large facilities, while adhering to safety procedures

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 licence with air brake endorsement.
• Current driver’s abstract is required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug test.
• Training starts online Aug 13/14 and in-person Aug 26/28.

Responsibilities

• Operate vac trucks and related equipment on industrial projects.
• Clean tanks, vessels, sumps and lines, including confined space entry work.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and keep the unit clean and service ready.
• Follow site safety procedures, permits, hazard assessments and lockout requirements.
• Handle and offload waste streams to site regulatory requirements.
• Complete field tickets, logs and daily paperwork accurately.
• Work as part of a traveling crew on multi-week project rotations.
