Job description

As a UX Researcher on the Consumer digital team, you will work closely with designers, product managers and other stakeholders to create and refine digital experiences that improve the lives of our users. Using mixed-methods research, you’ll support teams by bringing clarity to ambiguity with user insights throughout the product development process, from early-stage discovery to launch and evaluation. The role is essential in delivering seamless and intuitive user experiences that are grounded in user needs

What the role entails

Product Team Influence

    • Develop research plans with clear objectives, participant screeners, moderator guides, recruiting strategies, and timelines

    • Share research findings with product, design, and executive teams in ways that support decisions

    • Provide regular project updates, including status, blockers, and open questions

    • Recommend appropriate research methods and tools based on stakeholder goals

    • Work with Product Managers to forecast and prioritize research needs

Organizational Influence

    • Join cross-functional initiatives, representing the user voice and helping to drive continuous improvement

    • Build user empathy across the organization through readouts and direct feedback

UXR Influence

    • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in UX research

What you bring to the role

You center users in your work. You understand their experiences, emotions, and motivations, and you make sure others understand them too. You use interviews, surveys, and usability tests to uncover what matters most.

· You are confident in both qualitative and quantitative methods and know when to use each. You turn findings into clear, actionable insights that guide decisions.

· You present insights in a clear and engaging way. You work closely with cross-functional teams to make sure research findings lead to meaningful improvements.

Technical Proficiency

· You know how to select and use research tools to manage studies, analyze data, and communicate results. You apply these tools effectively in your day-to-day work.

· You try new approaches when needed and adapt your communication for different audiences. You help your team explore fresh ways to apply research in their work.

Basic Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of UX research experience, ideally in health tech or regulated industries

    • Comfortable conducting research in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

    • Portfolio that shows past research work and deliverables

    • Experience with tools such as UserZoom, UserTesting, Qualtrics, Confluence, and Miro

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills

    • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field

    • Willingness and ability to travel within the US and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working in healthcare or medical devices
