Description
Responsibilities:
- Create effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces.
- Design the overall functionality of the product to ensure a great user experience, iterating based on user testing.
- Design user interfaces for various projects such as digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials.
- Adopt a user-centered design approach, conducting rapid testing and iteration.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys; translate findings into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
General Skills:
- Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.
- Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar, designing for web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools.
- Thorough understanding of web development technologies and their limitations.
- Experience designing online programs emphasizing human emotional experience.
- Experience in user research, translating insights into intuitive designs.
- Ability to design and deliver wireframes, user stories, flows, journeys, mockups, and prototypes across devices.
- Experience facilitating the client's product vision through research, sketching, prototyping, and testing.
- Identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions.
- Making strategic design and user experience decisions.
- Gathering user feedback to refine interfaces.
- Team player with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing priorities.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of network security and protocols.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
Service Design – 50%
- Lead and coordinate service design projects, identifying opportunities for service improvement.
- Define project approach, conduct user needs mapping, research, stakeholder mapping, personas, journey mapping, collaborative design, prototyping, and service blueprinting.
- Develop and implement new service delivery solutions, reviewing performance post-implementation.
- Develop process improvement objectives, KPIs, and measurement metrics.
- Respond to business and policy issues with innovative strategies.
- Research and analyze service requirements, ensuring user-centered delivery.
- Document business processes and facilitate change management.
Expertise – 20%
- Provide service design expertise, including presentations and recommendations.
- Participate in vendor evaluation, project testing, and post-implementation reviews.
- Research trends and best practices in service design.
- Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote service improvements.
Stakeholder Relations – 20%
- Initiate partnerships and lead enterprise-wide projects.
- Develop stakeholder relationships and consult on service processes.
- Engage with vendors and community peers on service design trends.
Team Leadership/Guidance – 10%
- Manage multi-disciplinary project teams, defining scope, planning, and guiding staff.
Must Haves:
- User needs mapping, research, stakeholder mapping, personas, journey mapping, collaborative design, prototyping, service blueprinting, and prior experience with DDR Project.
