About the Role

As our commitment to UX grows, we are looking for a mid-level Designer in the Expense UX team. You will be responsible for delivering your work and accompanying your concepts throughout the development lifecycle. You will continuously broaden your horizon on design methods and technologies, working in partnership with our extended global product teams to develop simple and intuitive user experiences for our customers and millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and present design ideas effectively within a large team environment.
2. Work within a technical environment, demonstrating strong interaction design skills and comprehensive knowledge of user-centered design principles.
3. Maintain consistency and attention to detail in design solutions.
4. Translate complex issues into clear, focused, and understandable solutions.
5. Collaborate with Design Systems and Accessibility teams to ensure accessible and consistent designs.
6. Work independently and perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Work Experience and Qualifications

1. 4+ years of corporate experience in software design for web and mobile platforms.
2. Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and experience from conception to completion.
3. Ability to articulate concepts through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and prototypes.
4. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a history of working in iterative design processes.
5. Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Media Arts, or related field.
6. Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Proto.io, Framer, HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
7. Experience designing for mobile apps and accessibility.
8. A portfolio showcasing a range of creative design solutions.

Compensation Range Transparency

SAP values pay transparency, providing an annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentives. The targeted range for this position is $74,600 - $156,800 CAD.
