A local utility company in Saskatchewan is seeking a Meter Reader on a temporary, part-time basis until the end of 2026. The role involves reading meters accurately to ensure timely billing while maintaining professional customer service. Successful candidates should possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and be physically capable of performing tasks that may include walking long hours and working alone. This safety-sensitive position requires compliance with strict drug and alcohol testing policies.

This is a safety-sensitive position, the successful candidate(s) will be required to successfully complete mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol testing to comply with SaskPower’s Fit for Duty Policy.
The incumbent is responsible for reading meters accurately in a timely manner to meet billing cycle requirements. This position is accountable to the Meter Reading Supervisor (In-Scope).
Candidates under consideration may be required to participate in an assessment process consisting of any/all of the following: interview, abilities test, case study and/or presentation.
