About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the Utility Worker maintains hospital cleanliness through activities such as cleaning, mopping, dusting, floor care, carpet and chair shampooing, waste removal, chemical spill cleanup, laundry, room setup, window cleaning, salt application during winter, and cleaning isolation rooms, floods, and blood spills.

About You

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Cleaning and floor care experience (preferred)
  • Additional language skills, especially French (asset)

Hours
  • Part-Time, Long-Assignment; 22.5 hours bi-weekly
  • Schedules include 7:30 am - 3:30 pm and 11:30 am - 7:30 pm, including weekends and holidays
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate: $19.26 - $20.02

Benefits may include health, dental, travel, disability, life insurance, and a pension plan.
