A leading utility contractor in Central Ontario is seeking a Utility Person. In this hands-on role, you will support the construction of electrical power systems. Candidates should have experience with equipment operation and a strong commitment to safety. This position is unionized, offering comprehensive benefits through the Canadian Union of Skilled Workers. Candidates must reside locally or be within a reasonable commuting distance.
We are currently seeking a Utility Person to join our growing team to support a multi-year Distribution project in Central Ontario.
Reporting to the Construction Foreman, the Utility Person is responsible for providing support in the construction of overhead and underground electrical power systems and related infrastructure. This is a hands-on role where your strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will directly support our field operations and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Please note: This position is based in Central Ontario, and candidates must reside locally or within a reasonable commuting distance.
This project will be a unionized worksite. Candidates must be willing to join Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW)
This position will be part of the CUSW union and benefits are provided by the union.
