Job summary

Superior Propane in Canada is seeking a hands-on Utility II to support the Market Manager. The role is multi-faceted, involving filling cylinders, loading pallets for delivery, and maintaining the territory's yard and inventory (Plant), while coordinating general administrative duties.

You will also unload cylinders, assemble small appliances as needed, assist in customer service and sales, and lead asset verification. This role requires reliability and the ability to lift heavy objects safely.

Qualifications

  • High School education.
  • Minimum one year of experience.
  • Reliable transportation to work.
  • TDG and WHMIS training and certification (asset).
  • Forklift training (asset).
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the yard, facilities, assets, and inventory of the territory (Plant).
  • Coordinate and carry out general administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate and assist in the store, including customer service and sales.
  • Initiate and lead the asset verification process.
  • Assemble small appliances as needed.
  • Unload cylinders.
  • Conduct documentation, on-site inspections, and visual inspections of tanks.

Overview

Utility II reporting directly to the Market Manager. The role is multi-faceted and will respond to the changing needs of the territory. Responsibilities include filling cylinders and loading onto pallets for delivery to customers, maintaining the territory’s yard, facility, assets, and inventory (Plant), and coordinating and completing general administrative duties.

Wage
