Qualifications

Job description

Shift: 1pm-7pm Monday to Friday

Pay rate: $21.53 per hour

The Courier is responsible for picking up and delivering customer packages to meet daily schedules and resolving any issues that arise during deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver customer packages according to schedule
• Scan packages/mail upon receipt, delivery, or return to the depot at day's end
• Resolve problems on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a scanner and electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of vocational courses (if applicable)
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Experience:

• At least 3 years of driving experience with a clean driver’s abstract

Skills:

• Knowledge of domestic shipping and receiving operations
