PIPECARE is currently looking for UT/UTCD Data Analyst [Level 3] to our office in Canada.

By providing technology and service-focused solutions to the international oil and gas industry, the PipeCare Group has been helping our customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. Due to our global growth, Pipecare is seeking experienced UT/UTCD Data Analysts [Level 3] to support our ongoing expansion.

The selected candidate will work with our project execution teams to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of in-line inspection results, focusing on our custom reporting solutions to meet customer needs. Responsibilities include reviewing customer specifications, processing inspection data, analyzing pipeline features and anomalies, applying industry assessment criteria, ensuring quality and accuracy, and compiling comprehensive reports.

Qualifications:

DA in UT/UTCD technology [Level 3]

Experience:

Minimum 15+ years as a UT/UTCD Data Analyst

Responsibilities Include:
  • Checking and approving tool performance during PTT
  • Verifying data quality of ILI runs
  • Performing UTWM, UTCD, EMAT data analysis
  • Conducting dig verification tasks and preparing reports
  • Reviewing software interfaces and manuals
  • Maintaining DAD quality documentation
  • Ensuring accurate tool sensitivity values
  • Preparing run assessment reports
  • Identifying pipeline obstructions and producing valid reports
  • Communicating results and updating documentation
  • Alerting R&D and DA teams about software issues
  • Executing additional tasks as assigned
Candidate Qualifications:
  • At least a 4-year technical or engineering degree (experience may substitute for education)
  • Certification as ILI PQ LIII Data Analyst or ability to obtain it
  • Minimum 15 years of experience analyzing in-line inspection data
  • Proficiency in proprietary software and Microsoft applications
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with high-quality standards
  • Effective communication skills, capable of presenting to management and clients
