We are seeking an aspiring researcher to join our User Experience Research team. This role involves planning and conducting research on UX design projects that impact millions of users worldwide. The goal is to understand user challenges deeply and foster empathy to develop products that are easy, flexible, and smart.

UX Research is part of our Product Design Team, working closely with Product Designers to inform design decisions early in development. We engage throughout project phases to ensure the final product meets user needs and expectations. Collaborating with Product Managers, Developers, and other teams, we aim to create intuitive and effective products.

Our UX Research team provides essential data and insights to make our products user-friendly. We specialize in qualitative and quantitative data analysis, usability testing, research planning, and more. Our team conducts research with real users to inform our development teams’ decisions.

Main Duties:

  • Participate in experimental design processes
  • Work closely with Product Designers and Managers
  • Facilitate moderated UX research studies
  • Lead research operations (recruitment, tools, materials)
  • Assist with data analysis (qualitative & quantitative)
  • Communicate research findings to teams and leadership
  • Contribute to team meetings and support colleagues

What We're Looking For:

  • Completed at least one research methods course
  • Experience with research design and data collection
  • Experience recruiting and testing participants
  • Teamwork experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Motivated and able to work independently
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Basic computer literacy

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Psychology or a related field with a Co-op option.

The weekly salary range for this role is $850—$1,350 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
