Job description

We are a busy 5-vet companion animal Veterinary Clinic on Vancouver Island, and we are looking for sparkling unicorns to join our team!

Our hospital has all the standard in-house lab tools needed, and a fantastic, fun team who are all invested in our clinic goals and values. FBVS is focused on increasing veterinary accessibility on Vancouver Island. We accomplish this through spectrum of care practice, and partnerships with dozens of local animal rescue organizations. Our "Pawsitive Care" division aims to bring low-cost wellness and spay/neuter services to those experiencing financial difficulty. These non-profit programs are changing and expanding quickly, as we learn how to best address a growing need in our community.

We are currently open 8-6 Monday through Saturday, and are hoping to expand our hours in order to better serve our community. We need a few vets and techs interested in the unpredictable, incredibly exhilarating pace associated with urgent care on evening, overnight, and weekend shifts (we know you exist!)

We offer adorable rescue animals all day, mentorship and training, and the ability to help bring low-income programs to a beautiful, ocean-side community.

Vet Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per annum (based on experience)

Tech Salary: $30 - $40 per hour (based on registration status and experience)
