Job description

Position: Urethane Technician

Location: Nazareth, PA

SIGN-ON BONUS $1500

ASGCO Manufacturing, Inc., a manufacturer and turn-key service provider of bulk material handling equipment, including conveyor systems, conveyor components, screens, and wear parts to the aggregate, cement, wood, pulp, paper, recycling, and other bulk material handling industries.

We are seeking a Urethane Technician who is a self-starter with a great work ethic and the ability to follow direction and carry out the responsibilities of the job.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Cast urethane pouring
  2. Keep up with the workflow of everyday processes in the division
  3. Adhere to ASGCO Quality Assurance Standards and Safety Standards
  4. Bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for long periods of time
  5. Mix and replenish urethane
  6. Be proactive and able to implement more effective ways of accomplishing departmental goals
  7. Report to management if maintenance is needed on any machinery in the department
  8. Complete other projects as requested by management due to business necessity
  9. Use hand and power tools
  10. Perform administrative functions utilizing Microsoft Suite and email

Minimum Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Knowledge of measurements and using a tape measure
  3. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  4. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
  5. Attendance and reliability are a MUST
  6. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  7. Email literacy and professionalism
  8. Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills
  9. Prior experience working with general machines

Working Conditions:

  1. Work is performed in various industrial settings and environments, including shop, mining, and construction, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles.
  2. While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear, and see.
  3. Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) during the workday.
  4. Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, gloves, and other required protective equipment.
