Job summary

Appoint Staffing seeks an Upholstery Technician to join our production team in Mississauga, Ontario. This hands-on role emphasizes foam prep, fabric/vinyl installation, and quality control to ensure a smooth finish on finished components.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with no weekends, and contribute to other production areas as needed while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and meeting daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in upholstery, furniture manufacturing, automotive trim, or similar production.
• Familiar with pneumatic staple guns, hand tools and industrial adhesives.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Able to lift materials and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Foam Prep: Cut and shape foam components and align materials.
• Upholstery: Install covers using pneumatic staple guns and ensure wrinkle-free finish.
• Quality Control: Inspect components for defects and label accurately.
• Team Support: Keep workspace clean and assist cutting, sewing, or assembly as needed.

Job Type:Full-Time

Pay:CA$19.00 - CA$20.00 per hour (Based on experience)

• Upholstery:Inspect sewn fabric/vinyl covers, install them onto assemblies using pneumatic staple guns, and ensure a smooth, wrinkle-free finish.
• Quality Control:Inspect finished components for defects, label them accurately, and meet daily production goals.
• Team Support:Maintain a clean workspace and help cutting, sewing, or assembly departments when needed.

Requirements
