Job description

Responsibilities include replacing worn-out webbing, springs, and furniture parts; laying out, cutting, fabricating, and installing upholstery; sewing ornamental trims, repairing furniture frames, and refinishing wood surfaces. Operate sewing machines or sew by hand, resolve work problems, and provide technical advice to improve productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 5 years or more of experience

Work conditions

• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, ability to distinguish colors
