Upfit Mechanic | DuraMag | Waterville, ME


Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt


What you'll do:

  • As a key member of our team, you'll perform consistent,
    high-quality installations and service repairs on various truck bodies.
  • Complete and document quality
    installations and service repairs on truck bodies.
  • Read and follow detailed work
    orders, drawings, and blueprints.
  • Use basic hand, electric, and
    pneumatic tools safely and effectively.
  • Communicate with supervisors and
    cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and
    safe work area while supporting continuous improvement.



What you need to be successful:

  • High school diploma or GED
    required; 5+ years' service shop experience preferred.
  • PTO & hydraulic experience a
    plus; basic computer skills required.
  • Strong attention to detail with
    excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and
    able to work overtime or travel when needed.
  • Willing to pursue additional
    training and embrace change to grow in the role.
