Job summary

Untold Studios in Toronto is seeking a CFX Artist to build scalable character-effects setups for stylized and photorealistic characters and creatures. The role is full-time with a hybrid work model in Toronto, requiring strong Houdini expertise and Vellum Solver proficiency.

You will create believable cloth, hair, and related simulations, develop robust procedural setups, and collaborate with the character/VFX teams to troubleshoot shots across pipelines.

Qualifications

• Professional Houdini experience and proficiency with Vellum Solver.
• Strong independent troubleshooting and procedural setup skills; VEX is preferred.
• Muscle experience in Houdini 20.5 or 21 and experience supporting other artists are beneficial.
