Job summary

Pop-Up Talent is looking for Unregulated Care Providers to join their team in Huntsville, Ontario. In this part-time role, you will provide quality care, including administering medications and communicating essential information to ensure residents' well-being. Candidates should possess CPR certification and demonstrate understanding and empathy towards seniors.

Qualifications

Job description

Unregulated Care Providers (UCP), Healthcare Aide, Home Health Aide, Patient Care Assistant

This position is provided by Pop-Up Talent. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience — please consult with your recruiter for more details.

Base Pay Range

CA$21.29/hr

Job Location

Huntsville, ON P1H 0B1, Canada

Shift Schedule Availability
  • Casual positions available for UCP and/or GA roles, with all shifts (days/evenings/nights) open for candidates interested in cross-training for more hours.
  • Part-time hours available (11 pm - 7 am), 30 hours biweekly.
Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration (*UCPs only)
  • Provide quality care by administering medications and treatments safely and in accordance with legal and pharmacy standards.
  • Review, document, and communicate pertinent resident information.
  • Administer, assist, observe, and document medications using the medication administration record (MAR).
  • Ensure medications are passed as per schedule and document accordingly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information and medication details.
Qualifications
  • Understanding and empathy for seniors' needs.
  • Passion for providing excellent care to seniors.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to stay updated on regulations and practices.
  • Experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus.
  • PSW or Supportive Care certification is an asset.
