We are seeking a caring, passionate, and enthusiastic individual to join our team, serving our residents by keeping them safe, healthy, and happy.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing excellent medication services in coordination with physicians and pharmacists, ensuring a safe environment.
  2. Managing documents and ensuring treatments follow the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
  3. Completing required medication administration training and obtaining sign-off from the director of care.
  4. Collaborating with the resident service manager to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the home or residents.
  5. Checking medication stock levels, ordering supplies, maintaining data entry, and securing narcotics keys.
  6. Assisting with emergency procedures, resident enrollment/discharge, and occupational health and safety compliance.
  7. Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Appropriate Degree or Diploma related to Occupational Health and Safety, Public Health, or relevant studies. (PSW Certificate preferred)
  2. At least one year of experience as a Unregulated Care Provider in a long-term care or hospital setting is an asset.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills with a big-picture perspective.
  6. Physical strength to lift up to 50 lbs.
  7. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
