The University of Saskatchewan College of Nursing is seeking a highly collaborative, strategic and inclusive leader to serve as the Associate Dean, Academic (Associate Dean). The Associate Dean is a member of the Dean’s Executive of the College of Nursing and a Senior Administrator of the University. The role is responsible for the leadership and direction over the academic quality and integrity of undergraduate programming at the College of Nursing across the province of Saskatchewan. The Associate Dean has delegated authority, responsibility, and accountability for all matters related to undergraduate education programming.
This position reports to the Dean and works collaboratively with other Associate Deans and members of the Dean’s Executive to ensure the undergraduate program quality, delivery, and design meets or exceeds the defined BSN Program outcomes and the expectations for student learners, the program approval bodies, health care partners and accrediting bodies.
The role supports and champions teaching and learning innovation and excellence, and promotes and encourages student success. The Associate Dean provides leadership in creating opportunities for innovative projects, and opportunities that support partnerships.
