Alberta Health Services is seeking a Manager for the Operating Room, Day Surgery and Endoscopy at Leduc Community Hospital. You will lead the departments, drive performance, and support the organization's mission and patient-centered care.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing with 5+ years of acute care experience and 3+ years in leadership, plus strong communication and decision-making skills. Regular full‑time position with 1.0 FTE and 7.75‑hour shifts.
A challenging and rewarding opportunity exists at the Leduc Community Hospital for the role of Manager - Operating Room, Day Surgery, Endoscopy.
Reporting to the Site Director, the Manager is a key leadership role that is responsible and accountable for direction, team leadership and organization over the activities of the Departments while supporting the vision, mission, and business plan of Alberta Health Services.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minimum of 5 years of Acute Care clinical experience, and at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role. Requires strong management and leadership skills. Requires advanced decision making, negotiation, communication and conflict management, analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent writing skills require the ability to respond to short timelines. Proven current clinical nursing skills in selected areas of practice and a solid understanding of quality and patient safety. Proven ability to develop and lead teams. A strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is also necessary. Demonstrated advocacy for patient and family-centered care. Experience in Surgical Department setting is required.

Preferred Qualifications:Connect Care experience, 1-3 yrs. of supervisory experience preferred.
