Detailed Overview
Reporting to the Manager, the Unit Clerk/Operating Room Booking Clerk performs clerical duties related to patient care, including transcribing physician's orders, coordinating appointments, arranging tests, and maintaining surgical schedules using a computerized system. Maintains patient and surgical info, communicates with medical staff, and prepares reports for the Ministry of Health.

Education and Experience
Grade 12, medical terminology, graduation from a recognized Nursing Unit Clerk program, plus one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
