Reporting to the Assistant Head Nurse and Site Manager, the Unit Clerk position is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and customer service. Brooks is one of Alberta's fastest-growing communities, with a multicultural environment and a variety of recreational activities including camping, boating, fishing, sailing, kayaking, water skiing, ice fishing, and skating.

Description:

As a Unit Clerk, you will facilitate efficient communication among health professionals, departments, patients, and families, while maintaining patient confidentiality. Your responsibilities include performing administrative tasks such as reception duties, greeting and directing visitors, maintaining patient records and charts, transcribing and processing physician orders, and scheduling tests and treatments. You will support the unit through various administrative activities.
