The Waterloo Catholic District School Board seeks Supply Custodians to cover for permanent custodians and support multiple sites in the Waterloo Region.
Positions typically run 10 to 40 hours weekly, with duties including cleaning, snow removal and equipment operation. A satisfactory Criminal Background Check is required.
The Waterloo Catholic District School Board serves over 30,000 learners and provides services to students in 50 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12 and adult learners) across the Waterloo Region.

The WCDSB maintains a pool of Supply Custodians who are called to replace permanent custodians who are absent from work. A Supply Custodian will work approximately 10 to 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Supply Custodians are not assigned to one specific location and may have travel to more than one location on a shift. Our geographic region is within Waterloo Region.
Currently, all supply custodians are working 40 hours each week (consistently). This is a non-denominational position; Pastoral Reference is not required.
Over the last two years on average, it is taking a new supply custodian less than 14 months to get a permanent position if they have met all the expectations and service levels. This position is the only pathway to a fulltime career at WCDSB.
Salary Range: $26.19 per hour plus afternoon shift premium
