Reporting to the Vice President Underwriting, you will manage your teams and ensure compliance with quality and customer service standards. More specifically, you will orchestrate all activities and procedures related to life insurance and reinsurance underwriting. You supervise underwriters at all levels, as well as contract resources. Finally, the importance you place on teamwork and the people who make it up translates into a high level of commitment from your employees and a healthy, positive working climate conducive to development and surpassing expectations.

Your future responsibilities

  • Assume management tasks, including hiring, training, evaluation and supervision of a team of fifteen (15) professionals;
  • Develop tools to manage underwriting procedures and methods;
  • Provide customer service in line with corporate values;
  • Provide high-level technical support to team and customers;
  • Represent the company at external events and meetings;
  • Communicate and motivate the team by establishing appropriate methods for evaluating professional performance;
  • Present a professional profile representative of the company to employees and customers;
  • Support business growth and development objectives.

Your profil

  • University degree or other relevant field of study;
  • Experience in human resources management;
  • A minimum of eight (8) years underwriting experience in the life insurance industry;
  • FLMI and FALU certification (a definite asset);
  • Autonomous, rigorous and analytical;
