Our co-op program offers practical experience, mentorship from industry professionals, and exposure to leadership. We operate under a hybrid model, requiring relocation to Toronto for the duration of the internship, and candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Position Overview
You will collaborate with underwriters and other key personnel in our Toronto office, supporting Temple Insurance Company, a licensed Canadian insurer and a subsidiary of Munich Re.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:

  • Setting up new business for casualty and property underwriting
  • Preparing loss runs and quotes
  • Reviewing policy documents
  • Assisting in analyzing client submissions
  • Attending client luncheons and supporting promotional activities
  • Preparing reports and assisting team members

Qualifications
We seek well-rounded individuals with strong technical and communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and a proactive attitude. Candidates should be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields, with a focus on insurance, and should be in good academic standing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, mathematical aptitude, organizational skills, and prior relevant work experience are preferred. Open to current students returning to studies or recent graduates within the past year.
