Administrative Assistant, Commercial Underwriting

As an Administrative Assistant - Commercial Underwriting, you will provide support to the commercial underwriting team in all aspects of administrative functions. You will report directly to the Assistant Manager, Commercial Underwriting.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting mail function on program business
  • Issuing policy documents in accordance with underwriting standards and communication with brokers
  • Consolidating information from various sources for underwriting support
  • Supporting reporting functions through validation of data points
  • Facilitating and documenting policy change requests
  • Supporting Policy and Program Certificate reconciliation

Minimum Requirements

  • General Insurance Level 2 License required
  • 1+ years experience in the insurance industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in the face of adversity
  • Must be passionate about helping people, self-driven, and determined to succeed
  • Demonstrated talent to grow and develop relationships with our existing clients, new clients, industry related associations and our community
  • Capacity to provide exceptional customer service
  • Hours : 37.5 hours / week

    Location : Remote in Canada

    Salary Range : $45,000 - $65,000
