Chubb seeks a Commercial Underwriter in Vancouver to manage a diverse insurance portfolio, focusing on retention, account rounding, and new business. The role involves collaborating closely with brokers, making underwriting decisions, and achieving financial objectives. Ideal candidates will possess 2 to 5 years' experience in property and casualty underwriting and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.

KEY OBJECTIVE:
As a key member of the commercial underwriting department, this individual is responsible for independently managing a diverse portfolio of Commercial Property & Casualty business with a focus on Retention, Account Rounding, New Business, Renewal Change and Profit goals while establishing and maintaining healthy relationships with assigned brokers.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The approximate salary for the role will be positioned between the salary range of $85,000 to $120,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors, including prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, location, and internal equity.
