Job summary

Alamos Gold Inc. Young-Davidson is seeking an Underground Surveyor to support safe and efficient mine development and production. You will perform surveying across surface and underground operations, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.

Working closely with the Senior Engineer and operations teams, you will enhance planning accuracy, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to overall mine performance in a high-demand environment. This is 7 days on, 7 days off duty cycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in surveying within mining/underground environments.
• Strong data collection, interpretation, and reporting skills.
• Post-secondary education in Surveying, Mining Technology, or related field.
• Experience with Deswik or mine planning software is an asset.
• Commitment to safety, accuracy and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct underground surveys to support mine development and production.
• Provide line and grade to underground workplaces for accurate development.
• Perform alimak raise surveys and install survey control points.
• Mark up diamond drill and long-hole drill lines.
• Perform drone scans, CMS surveys, and generate prints from survey data.
