Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.

Location and Reporting Structure


Reporting to the Superintendent, Underground Mining, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate administrative records of underground personnel, shift schedules, and equipment usage;
• Manage underground crew time entries and shift schedules; act as the primary liaison for payroll inquiries and adjustments;
• Create and manage service entry sheets, purchase requisitions, material reservations, and purchase order tracking within SAP;
• Accurately enter daily production and safety data into mine management systems to support operational reporting;
• Track contractor expenditures against budgeted amounts; manage and reconcile invoicing processes;
• Monitor underground inventory, including supplies and consumables; perform regular inventory checks and reorder materials as required to avoid shortages;
• Prepare PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) packages and onboarding materials for new hires; coordinate with the travel department for new employee mobilization; serve as the point of contact for onboarding support;
• Manage employee travel forms, track vacation entitlements, plan and coordinate vacation schedules, and process vacation requests for the underground team; and
• Assist with preparing internal memos and presentations; generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on workforce metrics, production statistics, and safety performance.

Desired Competencies and Requirements

• Two (2) years of clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a mining, construction or industrial environment;
• Post Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, Accounting, Logistics or Management Studies;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and mine-related software (e.g., Deswik, SAP, Amine); and
• Familiarity with underground mine operations and terminology is preferred.


Compensation and Benefits

For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $95,082.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $34.50 and overtime rate of $51.75 in a work year.
